Prof. Dr. Laura Seelkopf gave a lecture on the history of taxation at Villa Vigoni. The conference took place from the 11th to the 15th of May 2026, at the German-Italian Centre for European Dialogue and aimed to rethink prevailing narratives and examine the rise of modern tax states, using Germany and Italy as examples, within a broader European and global context.
